Introduction

JiveX Review Web is the browser based image distribution component of the JiveX Review system. JiveX Review Web gives you easy access to distributed image sources within your network, simply with the web browser. A central web server and application server connects you with various image archives and PACS in your network.

The application is divided in two main components: After a successful login you will get to a query mask where you can type in queries and browse results. Selecting a study will take you to the image viewer that displays image series (and findings if present) at different zoom levels. The following instructions will lead you through each of the steps in detail.

For interactive image viewing including window levelling, rungless zoom, animation and various other image processing functions you will need the JiveX Review Client, which can be seamlessly integrated in this application. Please ask your administrator for access to this system.

Safety Regulations

The image display of the JiveX Review Web may not be used for primary diagnosis, treatment planning or implementation.

All legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the place of installation must be taken into account by the operator.

The start screen provides a login mask to the system. You can also select your language or display the online help and support information.

Select a Department

Using the department drop down box, you can select the database of a department you wish to connect to. If there is only one image database in your network it will automatically appear in the drop down box and must not be modified.

Every user to the system requires account login data for each database. If you have not recieved your login data yet, please contact yout system administrator. The login consists of a user name and a password, which should be entered in the corresponding fields. When done, click on login, to start the authentification process.

If your login succeeds you will be automatically forwarded to a query input mask for searching and browing patients ans studies. If the authentification fails, a dialog displaying an error message will pop up. Please make sure you typed your user name and password correctly. Name and password are case sensitive. In case the login does not proceed, please contact your system administrator.

Each login is limited in time. In other words, your login session is invalidated after a (predefined) certain period of time without user interaction. Thus, you will have to re-login. Please note that you have to restart your last image request.

Below, the results of your query will be displayed clearly arranged in a table. On the left panel you can find buttons for navigating through the result of your query.

Perform a Query

The input fields of the query mask may be created and arranged (by your system administrator) at your wishes. All database columns are available for design.

Moreover, it is possible to predefine presets of standard querys which are available through the corresponding menu. When done with the input of your query, please click on Search in the navigation panel.

Query results are displayed in the table in the lower part of the screen. Columns of this table may be created and arranged (by your system administrator) at your wishes. It is possible to sort the table rows ascending or descending by column. To sort the table, simply click on the headline of a column as search criteria. A subsequent click on the same headline inverts the sort sequence.

If the result list of your query contains more rows than one table page can display, the table will be extended to multiple pages. You can either redefine your search criteria to narrow the query result or use the navigation buttons to walk through the table pages.

Selecting and Displaying a Study

To display the images of a study, click on the patient name in a table row. This will take you to the overview mode of the image viewer.
